Accuracy changing

The concept of the mechanism of the accuracy of tanks was changed. In accordance with it, a considerable part of the guns was changed.

General principles:

HT - Heavy tanks, designed to break through the enemy's defense, are fighting at medium and short distances. Based on this, the accuracy of this type of tanks is not a priority parameter.

LT/MT - Light and medium tanks, maneuverable, not heavily armored, are fighting at medium and short range, the main task is to destroy the enemy's TD and destroy the enemy's HTs, due to the speed and bypass maneuvers, as well as the enemy's light. The accuracy of this type of tanks is average.

TD - Tank Destroyers, the main task from a long distance to hit enemy tanks in vulnerable places. Have high accuracy.

At the moment, only parameters relating to the accuracy of the tools have been changed. If the gun is mounted on the HT and MT, it is tuned to the HT parameters. If the gun is mounted on the LT, MT and TD are adjusted by the MT parameters. If the gun is used only on the TD, it is tuned to the TD parameters. There are individual exceptions to this scheme, associated with the parameters of a particular tank as a whole.

Mechanics:

The gun has an index of accuracy. This parameter is equal to the radius of aiming circle (hereinafter the aiming circle - AC) and visually displayed as a green circle. Also there is a circle that is invisible to the player, the radius of which is less than the accuracy index by 1.4 times (hereinafter referred to as the internal aiming circle - IAC). Hence the ratio of AC/IAC = 1.4.

The next important parameter is the chance to hit the inner circle (hereafter the chance of hitting the IAC - CHIAC). For HT, this parameter is equal to 75%, for MT - 80%, for TD - 83.3%. Simplistically, every fourth shot on the HT does not fall into the IAC, but falls into the area between the AC and IAC.

With the largest possible aiming circle (the complete non-reduction of the gun, for example, in motion), the parameters are set as follows: The maximum aiming circle (MAC) is more than 5 times the AC. The internal aiming circle with the MAC (hereinafter MIAC) is less than the MAC 2.5 times. As a result, it can be represented by the ratio MAC/MIAC = 2.

In addition, the scatter among the listed guns is normalized. Previously, due to various settings, the spread of projectiles was shifted in one direction or another, now all the projectiles are evenly distributed over the target.

The described changes are applied only to the guns listed below. Other guns will be brought to a new concept later, as part of the continued improvement of the balance of technology.

Language Selection

In the settings you can now select the English language. At the moment have been translated only text part of game. Later, the translation will affect at the pictures too.

Other changes

Special skill of the Till Conrad crew now works correctly with WT auf. PzIV.
KV-13 was transferred to the Alexander Marlin crew, responsible for the medium tanks of 7-8 levels (T-44, T-43, T-34-100).
Matilda - changed damage on the OQF 3-inch Howtizer Mk.I gun from 200/160 to 145/125, and penetration of HE was improved from 20 to 27.
Improved armoring of the bucket at backwards of Object 263.
Fixed the asymmetry of the side armor of Object 701.
Penetrability of the ammo rack and fuel tank of Rtm. Borsig WT was significantly reduced.
In Garage chat and Friend list you can copy player nickname.

A big 'THANK YOU' to you Chiffa and GWT for making an English version of us English speaking players. Now hopefully we can get more players from the old Gamebox version playing again, and attract more new players. More players, more fun ;-)
